Menage Entendre
(a night of improv)
Commedia Sans Arte is putting away our commedia dell arte style improvisation and costumes, and playing modern-style. The evening starts with high speed, high energy improv games, with longer stories created during the second half.
As always, we will draw much of our subject matter and framework from the audience (or even all, if you are ready to play too). But in addition, our tech crew will take an active part as well, with lighting changes, thousands of sound effects, snippets of tv and movie themes, and other stuff, which they can and will insert into the scenes and stories to keep us hopping. And the cast has no idea what is in the massive audio collection - yet.
If there is a story you want told, bring it with you to the Just Off Broadway Theater, and we might just do it.
The show dates are
Friday and Saturday August 8-9
Monday, August 11
Friday and Saturday,
August 15-16.
Performances start at 8PM.
Admission is $10 at the door.
