Set in south Louisiana where three generations of black women harbor a horrible secret. Maumau, the matriarch of the family, in order to seek revenge, has placed a voodoo curse on her own family. A curse that one by one these women have come to know and carry out. And now her innocent grand daughter has come of age and is about to be initiated as one of the 'Daughters of the Mock'.
