| Byrd Production’s Eighth Annual Laidback Fundraiser & Fools’ Fortunes Come on down to the Just Off Broadway Theater, 3051 Central, for another one of Byrd Productions’ Laidback Fundraisers, Saturday, April 7th from 7:00 – 11:00. This year’s festivities include beer by Boulevard Beer, food by Moxie Catering, cake by CakeGallery@Studio209, a silent auction, numerous raffles, and performances of music, comedy, dance, mime, spoken word, burlesque, performance art and juggling. The performers are Last Free Exit & Friends, DogTree, Stephanie Moore, Members of Opus, Members of the Best Network Theater Co., Better Than Nothing Magic & Juggling, Michelle Kelley, Gabe Savage, Beth Byrd, Commedia Sans Arte, Shannon Walsh & Friends, Stephanie Roberts, and Annie Cherry & Co. The suggested donation at the door is only $10. This year’s efforts go toward producing Fools’ Fortunes, a showcase of fools, mimes and movement artists featuring Richard Renner, Jay & Leslie Cady, Beth Byrd and Heidi Stubblefield. Performances for Fooles’ Fortunes are April 13, 14 & 15 at the Just Off Broadway Theater. Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door. As usual there will be a workshop on Monday April 9, 7:00 – 9:00 PM focusing on creating new material for Fooles. The cost for the workshop is $20.
