March 10 - Friday - 7:30pm - FIDDLER'S NIGHT at Just Off Broadway
$5.00 or FREE for fiddle students OR anyone with a fiddle in their hand.
Opening will be the Strawberry Hill Fiddlers, a teenage fiddle band from New York. They will be in
Kansas City to play for the American String Teachers Annual Meeting. Following intermission we
will hear performances from young fiddle students in the region. Following the show there will be a
fiddle jam, conversations, and spontaneous teaching.
March 11 - Saturday - 8:00pm - CHECKERED PAST
$10 at the door; $8 in advance
Checkered Past is K.C. Compton, Martha Haehi, June Holte, Lynn Snyder and Kerry Stanley on
guitar, fiddle, bass, mandolin and flute.
March 12 - Sunday - 1 through 5:00pm - GOSPEL MUSIC JAM & POTLUCK
FREE. It seems that every time we gather to hear or perform music, almost everyone has a gospel
tune or two or three to suggest. So we thought we would just make an afternoon of it and share all of
our favorite tunes. Bring your music, your instruments, your family and friends. Bring some good
comfort food to put on the table and share. There's no admission and no agenda. Just come and
enjoy a good time.
