The Kansas City Women's Playwriting Festival presents its 11th annual festival of new plays written by local and national playwrights. The Festival was first produced in 1995 by Potluck Productions to create more opportunities for emerging female playwrights to produce their work. The company's goal is to produce an annual festival highlighting the best in new scripts by local (and occasionally national) female playwrights.
